A hidden gem in the middle of Commodore Plaza will delight any Coconut Grove resident who is interested in ancient collectible artifacts. Midori Gallery specializes in East Asian artifacts and promises to culturally inspire you. Sachi Wagner, the owner of the gallery, has been collecting works for over 41 years from China, Japan, Korea, Tibet, and South East Asia.
Wagner opens her doors to private collectors, designers, and she educates small groups about her premiere collection of porcelains, paintings, sculptures, archaic ceramics, and a wide variety of ancient works of art. Her beautiful 2-story gallery gives you a sense of peace the moment that you step in as you view pieces dating from 3500 BC to the 1920s.
Wagner provides guided tours for individuals who are interested in viewing the gallery but they are encouraged to make an appointment so that she can prepare for their arrival. The capacity of the gallery is limited and in order to preserve ancient artifacts, the public is encouraged to call in advance.
